Life has a funny way of working out sometimes… I moved to Summit County in 1992 and felt like I had arrived home. I spent the next six years working in various restaurants, construction trades and ski-area operations and found myself missing the pizza business. This comes as no surprise to anyone who knew me growing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I grew up working for the original Peppino. He taught me pizza as a trade- always stressing the importance of treating our customers as family. Peppino's focused on using old-world family recipes to make the best homemade pizzas and subs. With Peppino’s blessing; I started Peppino's Pizzas & Subs in June of 1998 in Leadville, Colorado.

In the Spring of 2005 I partnered with another small pizza business owner, Dan Fallon, and we established Peppinos Pizza & Subs in its current location. Over the next twelve years Dan worked to perfect what I started in Leadville and I remained focused on my current career as a firefighter. Again, life has a funny way of working out sometimes.

Dan has moved on to greener pastures, although you may see him in for a guest appearance from time to time. My father and business partner, Tom, look forward to continuing to provide you and your family the freshest ingredients put together perfectly to create the best pizza, subs, salads, and pasta possible. Our food is all made fresh to your personal specifications! Our Mission is simple; “Making Pizza Great Again!”
